ABOUT JAMIE

Jamie Corley is a fifth generation Missourian and proven conservative leader. Since her first internship in the U.S. Congress at 19, Corley has spent more than 15 years fighting for the conservative movement from the highest levels of government and in cities across the nation. A “workhorse not a showhorse,” Corley is committed to promoting and protecting the policies that make Missouri a great place to live and raise a family.

GROWING UP IN MISSOURI

Jamie spent her entire childhood in Warson Woods, MO where her Dad still lives. With 12 aunts and uncles and countless cousins all living within a few square miles, family dinners and holidays were always full. After graduating from MICDS where she served as student body co-president, Corley attended Southern Methodist University as a Hunt Scholar. She graduated with honors with degrees in History and Communications and also spent a full year at the London School of Economics.

FIGHTING FOR CONSERVATIVE VALUES

After interning for Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO) and in the communications office at The White House, Jamie quickly proved herself as an emerging talent within conservative circles. She first worked in the office of war hero Rep. Sam Johnson and was then recruited to serve as communications director for Rep. (now U.S. Senator) Shelley Moore Capito and later as press secretary for U.S. Senator Bob Corker.

At the top of her career in politics, a startling diagnosis during a routine MRI shook Jamie’s world and that of her family. Jamie underwent serious neurosurgery at Barnes-Hospital to remove a tumor from her spinal cord. Wanting a break from the political arena, Jamie relocated to the West Coast. It was there that she developed a passion for building businesses, all while witnessing firsthand the challenges plaguing Democrat-controlled cities: sky-high costs, crime day and night, zero public accountability.

Jamie played an integral role in expanding the communications team at LaunchCode in St. Louis and also founded and grew a media company, which she later successfully sold to her co-founder.

A COMMITMENT TO SERVING MISSOURI WOMEN AND FAMILIES

Always knowing she would return to Missouri to be closer to family, Jamie returned home to Missouri in 2020 and started a nonprofit to support women’s health. In a short time, her work with The Missouri Women and Family Research Fund was featured on NBC Nightly News and in local and national news outlets.

As Secretary of State, Jamie Corley pledges to preserve the integrity of our elections, streamline governmental processes, and foster an environment conducive to business growth and prosperity. With her track record of effective leadership and steadfast commitment to conservative principles, Jamie is poised to guide Missouri toward a brighter future.
